Driving Directions to Brewery Gulch Inn

FROM THE NORTH:

Take Highway 101 south to Willits. Take Highway 20 west to Fort Bragg. When Highway 20 meets the coast (T-intersection), you will turn left (south) onto Highway 1. Go about 8 miles and you will be near the village of Mendocino. Mendocino has one stoplight on Highway 1. Continue south for about 1 mile past the Comptche-Ukiah Road. Shortly after that you will see a water tower on the east side of the highway which is marked Brewery Gulch Inn. On the opposite side (west) of the road there will be a sign for a Vista Point. Begin to slow down a little. You will see a blue roofed mailbox on the east side of the highway that is placed just beyond the Brewery Gulch Inn driveway. Turn left (east) into that driveway from the highway. Follow the signs and arrows up the hill to the inn.


An alternate route is to follow Highway 101 through the redwoods to Leggett. Turn right (west) on Highway 1 and go south for about 1 1/2 hours through Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Mendocino has one stoplight on Highway 1. Continue south for about 1 mile past the Comptche-Ukiah Road. Shortly after that you will see a water tower on the east side of the highway which is marked Brewery Gulch Inn. On the opposite side (west) of the road there will be a sign for a Vista Point. Begin to slow down a little. You will see a blue roofed mailbox on the east side of the highway that is placed just beyond the Brewery Gulch Inn driveway. Turn left (east) into that driveway from the highway. Follow the signs and arrows up the hill to the inn.

FROM THE SOUTH:

Take Highway 101 north to Cloverdale. Take the last Cloverdale exit which is marked Highway 128 West. Follow the signs to get onto Highway 128 West. The coast is about 60 miles through the Anderson Valley wine country and the redwoods. At the coast, Highway 128 turns seamlessly into Highway 1. Go north on Highway 1 for about 10 miles. You will go past Gordon Lane and then watch for the water tower on the right side of the highway which is marked Brewery Gulch Inn. There will be a blue roofed mailbox on the right side of the highway where you will turn right. Follow the signs and arrows up the hill to the inn.

FROM THE EAST:

Take Highway 20 west until it meets Highway 101. Take Highway 101 north to Willits. Take Highway 20 west to Fort Bragg.
